This was a fantastic restaurant for a while, but it now appears to be permanently closed, and I think I understand why. Initially, the food and service were excellent, but over time, the staff seemed to lose their motivation, and the service became frustratingly slow. During the COVID pandemic, things worsened, and I imagine the staff became an even bigger issue. It's really unfortunate that our local White Castle has closed down, and I hope someone will take the opportunity to reopen it soon. I truly miss it.
Although the burgers might not qualify as gourmet, they certainly satisfy a craving for fast food. Over the years, they have broadened their menu to feature breakfast items, veggie burgers, fish sandwiches, fish bites, fried mussels, and various other options. The staff may not always be the friendliest or the quickest, but what can you really expect from an affordable fast food chain?
It turns out that White Castle is not just a reference from the movie "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle"; it's actually a fast food chain. The prices are reasonable, and the food is tasty. They also offer a good variety of options for vegetarians. I left feeling very satisfied.
Our first time eating White Castle and we weren't disappointed! We got burgers, crinkle cut fries and chicken rings. I'm not a fan of crinkle cut fries but White Castle's were tasty. Definitely enjoyed the chicken rings; if get those again.
