Utter let down! We booked a table here in order to celebrate a friends birthday. We booked a table for 4 people for a Sunday Lunch time. We travelled for 1.5 hours to get there, with our friends coming a similar distance from the other direction. On arrival, there was chaos in the car park. Several cars were waiting to go in and there is no parking anywhere in the surrounding area. A lady who was also waiting said that people were arriving and heading off away from the pub in order to go for walks in the local area. This was leaving no chance for pub customers to park. I recently dined at the White Hart in Ford with friends for a spontaneous night out. I must say we had a lovely experience. The hostess welcomed us warmly and showed us to our table. We were given menus and placed our drink orders, which arrived at a leisurely pace. The atmosphere was cozy with other diners present. The food was all delicious, especially the beef burgers and the steak and blue cheese pie with mashed potatoes that I had. Although we were offered desserts, we were too full to indulge. The prices were a bit high, but the quality of the food and the friendly staff made up for it. Thank you, White Hart.
We have stayed here twice before The setting is peaceful, the rooms are very comfortable and rhe food has been great. Sadly, our third visit did not kick off to a great start. As I mentioned we've been here before. Sadly last time we came we had to complain as we were kept awake most of the night due to drunken arguments between rooms and a couple in the room opposite us so the manager gave us a free evening and breakfast. So we booked 2 nights, which we took advantage of this last weekend. Check in no booking for us,
Atrocious customer service. They NEVER answer the phone... Tried to make a booking for a large group, called numerous times and left 4 messages over 3 weeks asking them to call me back if there was a problem. No one called. Discover 1 day before that no booking had been made. As previous regulars this is really disappointing. I understand they are full but the least they could have done is call me to let me know. They clearly don't value customers.

We stopped by this restaurant for dinner and a drink one evening while in the area and were extremely happy with our decision. The high quality of the food being served at the tables around us and the wide variety on their menu made it challenging to decide what to order. We also appreciated the friendly, polite, and professional staff both at the bar and at our table. Thank you for a wonderful meal.
Fabulous! Our fourth visit and first overnight stay. The service and attention to detail (whilst training new staff members) was delightful. The food was as always excellent. In the summer the garden with river is stunning. When the winter starts it is a warm glowing beauty. On a surprising busy evening everyone is smiling. We could not recommend this beautiful pub more highly. Great job
The service was very good and the waiter Josh Ingram looked after all of us very well. The food was excellent and the causal atmosphere made for a very pleasant and satisfying lunch experience. The location is in the heart of the English country side.
Gorgeous setting and lovely atmospheric pub by the riverside. Food tasty but very highly priced for portions. Recommend for drink but full meal pricey for a pub

The Sunday lunch at this restaurant is the best in town. It seems like new staff have recently taken over, and what a delight they are - so friendly!
