Always a welcoming place to visit for a good ever changing selection of beers and nice bite to eat. Last week Ken, Lou and the team went the extra mile in helping us host our daughters 18th Birthday party for family and friends. From providing the use of the back bar area, the brilliant buffet (including a bespoke tray for the sole gluten intollerant guest), Lou's conducting of the rest of the pub in singing Happy Birthday and all around help in organising a lovely afternoon for everyone attending. Everything was spot on. Has to be the friendliest, most welcoming pub in Banbury. Thanks so much for a brilliant afternoon.
We stumbled across this pub by chance, on our first visit to Banbury. Wow, we loved it! The pub is quirky, super pretty, and comfortable. We well relaxed! The pub served good quality beers, with a good cellar manager in charge. The manager, Lou, was extremely friendly and helpful. Our dogs were spoilt too. Everything was perfect, toilets clean. Hope to return on our next visit.
We had a Roast for our lunch. It was delicious just like home cooked and very generous portions. We would definitely recommend a visit for the food but the service was top notch too. From when we first walked in we were made so welcome. We're planning our next visit very soon.
Absolutely incredible food. After eating there two times, once in November and we had their Christmas dinner it is hands down the best food of any pub we’ve ever been to. Owners are lovely and for what you get the value for money is very good. Will be returning many times.

A real pub. Full of love. The food is great but the atmosphere is outstanding. We went for a lunchtime snack but went back to finish the night off. The owners couldn't have done any more for us, we went as strangers but left felling we had made new friends. Thankyou

They were so welcoming. The landlady remembered we had come in a few months ago. She welcomed us as friends and made us feel so welcomed.
