I can't be trusted in this store alone. They usually don't have the best prices, but it's always a fun experience to browse and see what I can find. There are a few items I specifically go in for, but I always get pulled into the vortex where time seems to disappear. I really enjoy the produce section, although it can get pretty hectic on the weekends. I appreciate the variety of meat-free and dairy-free options, as well as the gluten-free choices. Overall, it's a nice store, even though the nickname "whole paycheck" is somewhat accurate. I'd rather support the farmers than the big pharmaceutical companies any day. The salad and hot food buffet at this restaurant is excellent. The quality is unmatched but it is on the expensive side. I indulged in 2.2 pounds of food and paid $25. I was concerned about the amount of waste and leftovers, as the buffet items were all fresh but there weren't many customers. It was enjoyable to have a beer with my meal.
I like this whole foods because it succeeds in feeling really like a part of the neighboring though it is a chain. I don't like the new layout since the change.
