We stopped in here before a show The New Wimbledon Theatre before the 14:30 show. Due to transport issues, we got to area 30 minutes later than planned was worried we wouldn't get to relax unwind from the journey! But we needn't have had those thoughts as we had plenty of time, as we got served with our drinks the bar very promptly, found a large choice of tables to choose from. Wifey had a large Sauvignon Blanc whilst I had a pint of Hobgoblin Ruby Ale from the large selection of real ales available. We doubled up the order to save a bit of time. We both weren't disappointed with our drinks were very satisfied. We also ordered a small plate of spicy chicken wings (10) using the J.D.W. app o...
I recently made a complaint about an unprofessional barmaid to the head office of the restaurant. Unfortunately, they refused to share any feedback information with me, leading me to believe that they may not take the issue seriously. I tried contacting the manager at Wibbas both by email and phone, but received no response. The manageress promised to look into the matter, but has since ignored my emails regarding any actions taken. The behavior of the barmaid could have potentially escalated into a physical altercation with a younger, fitter customer standing next to me. As a 65-year-old with health issues, this was concerning. It seems that the poor skills of both the management and head o...
I asked questions about the food because of my dietary restrictions and was told the bar lady couldn’t disclose that information and that I need to read the menu?????!!!! Then when I tried to order the first 4 vegan dishes I wanted were not available. Then when my food came, my vegan burger came with an unidentified sauce- I asked and it wasn’t vegan. No vegan alternative available. Dreadful food, service and staff attitudes. AVOID.
We arrived on Friday, the 15th, and were lucky to secure the last available table in the packed restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by how quickly we were served drinks and our food arrived shortly after. The quality of the dishes was excellent. I must commend the hardworking staff who were very busy, but provided efficient service with a smile. It was an excellent evening out. Thank you. Book a table now
I dined at this restaurant on a busy Saturday evening before going to the theater. I had reviewed this place before and had a completely different experience. This time, my opinion has changed for the better. The food was hot and flavorful, and I received exceptional service throughout the evening. Credit is definitely deserved for a job well done.
Cheap Pub. Everything is cheaper than most other pubs in the area. When saving money outweighs all else and you’re in a hotel nearby, try here. If you don’t have to worry about spending money, you should probably try something else.
Wetherspoons can be hit or miss with some. This pub is perhaps one of the more better spoons in terms of appearances and is quite spacious but apart from that, it 's nothing to write home about.
Large barn of a pub with three separate bars. It has an excellent choice of beers (18 hand pumps) and plenty of seating. The service can.sometimes be very... Book a table now
I'm torn somewhere between three and four stars for this sprawling Wetherspoon's. It's a bit of a barn, with seating around the edges in a booth style...
