Went over to West Krby today, had a walk down to the beach, as the tide was in didn't get too far out. Had a stroll around the main shopping street found a lovely friendly restaurant called Pickled Wallnut formally know as the Wild Inn. Lovely friendly staff, very clean tables and spotless restroom. Had coffee and cake, not normally a fan of Victoria sponge cake, but there's looked delicious topped with raspberries, and it didn't disappoint, best Victoria sponge I've had in years. They also serve lovely cooked meals, which I saw being brought out to other customers. Will definitely be back again next time I'm over in West Kirby. The staff were fantastic; nothing was too much trouble for them. If there was a cocktail that wasn’t on the menu, they were more than happy to make it. The atmosphere and music created a unique vibe in the place. I just wish it were closer to home. I definitely plan to return!
My friend recommended this bar to me, and I knew exactly where she was tonight. It was a bit empty, but the atmosphere was really nice. The drinks were excellent, and the service was great. I'll definitely be coming back!

brilliant atmosphere and decor. the workers know about their drinks, but are not sniffing about it, the Irish merciful made the best old fashion I ever had good the trip worth!
Love this place. First Sunday of the month is reggae night and I make a good effort to never miss it. Love it. Sean and Liam are top blokes
