Well what can I say it was absolutely stunning, table of 4, poached salmon, mushroom risotto, corn beef pie and a beautiful pheasant and cranberry pie all very exquisite and good value for money, waiter and waitress was very attentive and a warm welcoming atmosphere!! The best food iv ever tasted!! Will be back again for some more grub!!! Price per person: £10–20
Food tasted great and was good value, definitely on early bird menu. But the carpets have definitely seen better days and together with the distressed furniture they did spoil what could be an excellent location. Just 4 of us in the pub, waited 40 mins. for our meal, 3 meals were just ok, mine turkey roast dinner, cauliflower was almost raw, carrots just cooked, no apple sauce or stuffing the blandest meal I have ever eaten Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1 Book a table now

Nice local pub. Some locals. Some Sunday walkers. Families. Nice mix of Nice folk. Friendly barstaff. Also allow motorhome stopovers. Can't fault it. Price per person: £10–20
