The enticing aroma pulled us in—an inviting, nostalgic BBQ scent. The walls were adorned with various awards and recognitions. Although there was a nice variety on the menu, the food ultimately fell short. A single bite was enough for us. The portion sizes were generous, but everything was lacking in flavor. The pulled chicken was tender and heaped high, yet it was bland, and the sauces had a distinctly overpowering vinegar taste. I tried the coleslaw, beans, and rice as sides, but they too were disappointing. I think I’ll stick to deep south BBQ in the future.
I visited a barbecue restaurant on Wednesday evening to grab some takeaway, a place I hadn't been to in a while. The online ordering process was smooth, and my food was ready as scheduled. Willard's was just ok guys... It was 5 of us that went. We ordered a bunch of food and I tried 4 different meats. Pork ribs, 1/4 chicken dark meat, brisket and burned ends. My fav was the pork ribs hands down. Brisket came in for a close second. Rib fell right off the bone and that's what you want. Enjoyed the smoke taste as well and it went decent with the sauces they have. Now the sauce itself, was a little bit too watery for my taste. Some folks like that but I'm the
Ughhh. I was very disappointed about my visit here. I purchased the burnt ends with a side of greens and Mac cheese. The Mac tasted like a combination of four, milk and cheese, in that order. The greens were okay, extra seasoning is needed. Now for the burnt ends, they looked delicious, however, they were crunchy all over, one was literally burnt and dissolved like powder. Some of the others could barely be penetrated with a fork. I felt like I was eating jerky.

It has been a while since I wanted to try this place. I tried the brisket and ribs. The brisket was good but not a Waw! The ribs was also good. The hot souces was good! In overall, it?s place that you fill your belly ! Rich Menue, i used the leftovers from the brisket to create a sandwich and it was still taste good ! This review can be edited in the future when I try more different plates and dishes they have.
Incredible barbecue! They offer a variety of platters, sandwiches, and numerous side dishes to choose from. There are several barbecue sauces available, along with options for soda, lemonade, and both sweetened and unsweetened tea. There’s plenty of seating, including booths and tables. I absolutely love this place—be sure to stop by if you're in the area!
Delicious BBQ! The vast menu offers a ton of choices. The sandwiches are HUGE and a great value with 2 heaping sides. Pulled Pork and ribs are both delicious! The sauces are great as well. Fast service!
Go hungry! Four rib dinner, 2 sides will last you a couple of days. Very tasty and meaty ribs, and great brisket. Very clean, nice staff. Good desserts as well! When in town, I?ll come back!

I highly recommend Big St. Louis Ribs and Beef Brisket. I also really enjoy their delicious "liquid gold" sauce. This is definitely my favorite BBQ spot in the Reston area!
