I got their Mac and Cheese Bake for dinner tonight and it was disgusting. I got it to go and it took a while to come. I was waiting with my tea for a good ten + minutes. When I got back to my place, five minutes away, I sat down to eat I was disgusted by the sight before me. I opened the box to find the greasiest and slimiest noodles, glued together with what was supposed to be three kinds of cheese and Alfredo sauce. It wasn't. It was like rubber. The noodles were tough. They tasted like fried cardboard with rubber stuck to it. To top it off there was essence of fake bacon on the top. I was hungry and needed to eat because I was getting a headache, I tried a few forkfuls but discovered it's...

A friend was driving into town and we agreed to meet at this restaurant on Main Street West across from McMaster University. The food is fresh and tasty and there is a large menu - waffles, small pizzas, quiches, fish, chicken, salads and all-day breakfasts. Being so close to the University, it is a student hang-out and there were many there with their computers. There are booths to handle four people (six if you are all skinny!) and tables for two and four. You place your order at the counter, pay, receive a number which you place on your table and your food arrives in a few minutes. We shared a quiche and a muffin which were delicious. It is generally busy and particularly so at lunch. This...

Nothing pleases me more about an establishment than a lovely staff. That's exactly what I got every time I went back up to order something new. The cashiers are super sweet and approachable. There was nothing fake about it. I understand that the job gets hard but everyone who works at this Main St location is outstanding. In terms of the restaurant, it's a bit small and tends to get busy because it's across the McMaster campus, but if you go during a good time you can surely snag a cozy booth. Wait time for food isn't long and the food is reeeeeeaaaallly good. Thank you so much Main St Williams Staff! You made my stay so worth while.

William's is a great café for students. I definitely would not recommend the place to large groups or families with small children, but for students, it is a must! The prices of the food and prices are relatively cheap and the food itself is delicious. I would recommend: the chicken quesadilla, the pizzettas and the breakfast waffle. As for drinks, I would definitely recommend their smoothies. The service is also great, the waiters/waitresses are very nice and attentive. Book a table now

I like the food here; it is the kind of healthy food I choose. The brown rice toped with beans, greens, avocado, etc with vegetarian or non vegetarian choice is one of my favorites! They have good variety including smoothies. My only problem is that it is very busy and difficult to find a table. You need to kind of wait a little to get a seat and then the table remains dirty and you need to ask them to clean it ;(

I visited Williams with a few friends for lunch. It is conveniently located across the street from the McMaster campus. I had a baked mac and cheese, which was okay, but the strawberry banana smoothie was phenomenal. Overall, a nice cafe with a casual atmosphere and good location. Book a table now
