Absolutely fantastic! I spent several hours here, and it was a wonderful experience—definitely better than what I encountered in London. Currently, there's a final exhibition that is truly exceptional. The combination of a cutting-edge 21st-century artist alongside the old masters creates a unique experience that I highly recommend. The beautiful building also features a lovely garden, adding to its charm. There’s a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The café serves delicious paninis and excellent salads; I simply loved it! I've visited many of the more famous galleries in Europe, but this one has a gentler pace that really puts art at the forefront. I highl...

Thoroughly enjoyed the exhibition about the Argyle theatre, in Birkenhead,great artifacts and info on the theatre, also the ladybird books exhibition, that brought back a few memories. Nice clean cafe inside too . Good way to spend a couple of hours..well recommend it .

Always a pleasant experience with interesting exhibits and a good cafe. Unfortunately the local Labour dominated council has been trying to destroy it for some time but there is a respite now there is a hung council, but check before you visit.

fabulous collection in comfortable inviting gallery of helpful scientific staff. a must visit place for layered buffs with interest in ceramic and marine matters.
