My husband and I were in this restaurant a few weeks ago. Our server Laurie was extremely prompt, pleasant and professional. The patio was very busy despite being just midday. They have an extensive wine list as well as employing their own sommelier Amanda. All of our interactions with staff during our visit were dealt with in a highly efficient manner. The menu itself I would consider slightly more limited than some other similar establishments. However, that said, what they do well they do REALLY well.I had the salad with the fresh buttermilk dressing. It was beyond fresh and served on lovely summery crockery. A friend and I went here for brunch earlier this summer, and despite the cooler day we were able to be seated under the tent which was lovely to enjoy the view the outdoors. We each got a drink and the steak eggs. My Caesar cocktail was the best I’ve had in a long time, well seasoned and not watered down at all, very flavourful and satisfying. Both of our steak eggs were cooked well, with wonderfully crispy potatoes and a nice portion of fruit. I’d absolutely return here to try more menu items!
Service here is amazing. We ordered the lamb burger and it was really salty. We mentioned it to the waitress and unbeknownst to us she relayed this message back to the manager on duty who then came out to personally apologize and took it off our bill! These types of feedback really help the kitchen staff make adjustments to their menu if need be. Love this place and their customer service.
Went for Sunday brunch and it was great. I always thought it was going to be way to expensive but it was reasonable priced. Had thr avocado toast with breakfast potatoes and it was by far the best avocado toast I've tried. Only $14 and $9 for a delicious Mimosa so not bad at all. Great service and looking out over the lake was relaxing. Will definitely be going back, 10/10
