Wilmette Wine Cellar

This mid-sized wine shop offers a good variety of wines at different price points and from various regions. They also have a small but high-quality selection of beers for non-wine drinkers. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with dark wood decor that is typical of wine shops. Upon entering, we were greeted warmly and given space to browse without feeling pressured. When I asked for assistance, I was provided with helpful suggestions without being pushed towards expensive options. I visited with a friend who prefers beer, and he found a unique six pack that he had trouble finding elsewhere. This is a fab place for gatherings. The staff is super knowledgeable about wines and the prices are reasonable. Very comfortable but sometimes noisy if people are drinking. Came here twice for an author event and could barely hear the author/s speak. Wine and atmosphere divine. Street parking available.

I really wanted to like this place. unfortunately came on a Friday night. the beautiful wine selection ran. when we entered, a customer was in front.

that is a abyss for meetings. the staff is excellent about weeping and the prices are appropriate. very comfortable, but sometimes loud.
