Hadn’t been in a Wimpy for many years, and was pleasantly surprised that it hasn’t changed much, although the Wimpy Beefeater man was no longer a feature! (I said it was many years). It was not busy and we were provided with menus as soon...as we sat down. I ordered the Wimpy kingsize burger fries for main, and a Eskimo Waffle for dessert. Burger arrived and was hot, and, looked almost like the picture on the menu. Good sized portion of fries to go with it as well. Managed to clear my plate and just found enough room for the delicious dessert. Washed it down with a cup of reasonable coffee all for around £15. Restaurant was spotless and staff were polite and efficient. Would go again.
it's a long time since I was with a wimpy (they aren't many left) we loved an wimpy, no more! never again this will be the last time when we go to a wimpy, the burgers were vile, they had a strange...taste the tiny piece of me suspected that you should be fried tweepers, were nothing like fried tweak less, no red tweebel in the burgers as described in the menu. the coffee was just as terrible, more like dish water. does not definitiw the original wimpy burger . a total waste of money. the Burger junction next to the ashford station make beautiful burger, where they can get many different fillings.
I have always enjoyed wimpy, but was not for ever since eternity, so was pleasantly surprised to visit today and find that the restaurant has been renovated with new leather style seating and decor. looks perfectly clean and fresh. the staff here are always attentive and polite....Kill me old-fashioned, but I have to enjoy it for me as a little more when I have eaten a teller! will definitely be back.
Had lunch here with wife and mother and had a really nice meal which was a surprise, as was not sure what to expect. Service friendly and fast. Everyone enjoyed there meals This place was spotlessly clean which it all restaurants should be! Would defo...use again Book a table now
We have eaten here a few times here as my son is a really fussy eater and like going here This place is spotlessly clean Toilets very very clean Food is always piping hot and fresh Staff all very friendly And all very well reasonably...priced
one of the smartest, most modern wimpy restaurants I've ever seen. very clean and clean spaces in the did. service was fast and quarter pounder with bacon and fish finger burger were both very good.
Decided to try the wimpy hamburger for the first time and it was tasty! Nothing special but tasty. Had the cheeseO rings too which were delicious!
