Popped into the Wimpy at beckenham for a late breakfast on Saturday 27th November. I've always liked a Wimpy every now and then but hadn't been for one in the past year. What a great experience! The young lady serving us was so polite, smart and friendly. The other chap that served us, chap with a beard and a tad older than the other staff, again so friendly and obliging. The breakfasts they offer were excellent and a real proper breakfast worthy of any of a favourite cafe I've been to. Whilst we were there there was a small birthday celebration taking place for a youngster. The family had bought a cake and the staff turned the lighting down for a few seconds when the candles were lit. Nice...
I am typically satisfied with the service and quality at this restaurant as I often visit, but I was very disappointed today. When asked if everything was okay upon paying, I mentioned that the salad I had ordered was not to my liking. The lettuce was brown and limp, far from fresh and crisp. I had already eaten some in a wrap and could not eat a plate of it as a side salad. I was very disappointed with the quality of the side salad, which consisted of limp lettuce and only 3 slices of tomato. This simple salad cost less than the $3.15 I was still charged. Popped in today with family only 3 people in there and was not happy that we had to wait 6 mins for menus then was given one adult and one child menu despite there being 3 adults and a child!!! Food then arrived bun was soggy and chips were cold and could tell they had been reheated a few times!!! Childs meal I ordered chips were cold too and burger was overdone!!! Then I go to pay and notice after leaving I had been overcharged!!! Use to like coming in but won't be coming in anytime soon unfortunately
This was the worst hamburger meal I have ever had. It took a very long time to receive our food, despite the restaurant being nearly empty. The food was cold, the cheese fries were a mess, the fries were lacking salt, and the burger was dry. It also took a long time to receive the bill. Furthermore, it was uncomfortably cold inside. I will not be returning.

I had a fantastic experience at this Wimpy restaurant. I went there for lunch with my kids on Saturday and the service was extremely friendly, making us feel very welcome. The food arrived promptly and was delicious, with flavors that reminded me of the 80s. The milkshakes were a hit with the kids. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
The service is always outstanding in wimpy, so friendly I just had to acknowledge the team in their with a review. I’m so glad this place is still open! Lime milkshakes are my favourite and great veggie options.
We live locally and my children used to love buying milkshakes as treats there. The owner is a lovely man who has been there for more than 20 years! I really hope they do okay during the pandemic.
Food was cold when I received it, the woman who said she is the manager was very rude and stinks of cannabis... I will never use this establishment again.

Have been going for the past year and they are always friendly. The manager is welcoming and genuine and the waitress there, Gemma, is lovely.
Not the best burger ever but customer service are child friendly overall service is excellent ! Very clean environment.
