Windsor Deli is my local coffee shop and has a delicious array of freshly baked goods, breakfasts and lunches, and even vegan cupcakes. A stone's throw from bustling Chapel St this suburban coffee shop makes - in my opinion - Melbourne's best coffee. Friendly staff with superb barista skills will make you a brew that will have you coming back for more. Classic eggs bennie or Jerk chicken sandwiches are perfect for brunch. Pet friendly outdoor seating available as well. Worth a visit!!
Just a short walk from the hospital, the Windsor Deli is in an old corner store at apparently was once a delicatessen. Don't be deceived by the name, it's now a cafe that serves excellent breakfast and lunch and seems to specialise in cookies. The staff seem to genuinely enjoy serving you which makes for a delightful atmosphere.
My partner & I went here as he has just moved from London & was recommended by a colleague. The coffee was amazing as well as the food. But the customer service was not definitely the stand out. Will be a regular of ours in the future! Make sure you try the brownies they are to die for!
