Stopped here for breakfast and it was wonderful! The setup is a little weird you check in with the host, then stand in line to order food at the counter, then go back to the host so they can tell you where to sit. However, the line moved fast for a busy Sunday morning. We both ordered iced lattes and enjoyed sipping on them while waiting for food. It took a bit for us to notice the self serve water station near the door; it would've been nice if the host pointed that out, but no biggie. I have always had good tasting, fresh, and well prepared food at Winslow's. You will leave happy and full. This is often a loud place because everyone is talking, happy, and full! Staff is friendly and everybody does everything! Seating seems limited, but the tables turn over and I've found a seat in over a half dozen visits. Pastries are well baked (no soggy bottoms! and fun! Lots of free parking. The range of offerings is limited but you will find something at least on the a la carte menu. Coffee is decent and refills are free. Came here about a year ago and vowed never to come back due to terrible service and what seemed like very indifferent staff. Well, they are now under new ownership and you can tell immediately. Nice variety of food for breakfast. Totally covid prepared. Friendly staff. All outdoor seating. A friend was in from out of town and we sat out for what seemed like hours and yet no one on the staff asked us to leave. Steady stream of take out noted and sit down guests. Going back soon. Easy to find location just west of the U City Loop. Seems like a very neighborhood kind of place. Good coffee too!!!
The restaurant system is poorly organized. You order your food before you get a table, and then you wait to get a table. They do not begin making your order until you sit. We waited about 40 minutes after paying for our food, just to get a table. Then they put our order in, and we waited even longer to get our food.

I've eaten through different iterations of their menu and everything is top notch! I especially like the two-item lunch combo, and typically pair a tartine with a soup or a veggie side. Breakfast and brunch fare is also good; I especially like their quiches. Outdoor seating is available.
We enjoyed Winslow's Table for breakfast having heard great things. The lattes were delicious, the food superb and environment very nice. We'd recommend to anybody looking for an insanely fresh tasting breakfast. Best breakfast out in a very long time in fact!

I’m not sure that I could think of a more unorganized way to run a restaurant. Half our food came about 15 minutes after the rest. The outside wait staff were also very rude. Definitely not going back.

Please go here and get breakfast immediately!!! Their coffee? PHENOMENAL. Pastries? GET ALL OF THEM. I especially loved the chocolate chip cookie and the goat cheese cookie. I will be back soon!
20 minutes in line to order was a bit much followed by 20 minute wait for food. Food came eggs over easy were cold.
