So auch am vergangenen Wochenende, als wir wieder mal in Wetzlar waren und natürlich im "Wirt am Dom" reserviert haben. Das Wetter war sommerlich und die Außenterrasse gedeckt. So weit - so gut. So ging es aber leider nicht weiter. Erst kam einmal die falsche Vorspeise an. Statt des bestellten Fischcarpaccios (drei Sorten Fisch) gab es Lachscarpaccio. Und das, obwohl das eigentlich Bestellte durchaus hätte serviert werden können, wie wir später erfuhren. Das Hauptgericht war dann nahezu ungenießbar. I cannot understand why sometimes I have to leave Italy and come to Germany to eat a decent pizza! The bruschetta, the pizza and the tiramisu I ordered did not reveal any unpleasant surprises and even my guests showed appreciation for their dishes. As an Italian, I would recommend the restaurant to everyone. The location of the restaurant right in front of the Wetzlar church is very characteristic, especially if you have lunch in the outdoor area. One advice: if you can, book your place in advance.
Einfach immer wieder toll. Schönes Wetter und super gutes Essen passt einfach zusammen. Bin gerne an so schönen Abende hier. Es passt alles zusammen. Heute hatte ich ein super Dorade Filet und meine Frau einen frischen Salat. Das gastfreundlich Personal, die Qualität des Essens ist einfach super. Eine tolle Auswahl von Weinen rundet das ganze ab. Tolle Location. Freue mich auf das nächste mal.
I got here at 1:45 on sunday, sat for 10 mins, no one took my order, got up and left, and immediately spmeone took the menu off the table. They were clearly not interested in serving me, a single woman, so close to closing time.

Schönes Ambiente, guter Service, exzellente Küche, hier passt alles. Wenn ich in Wetzlar zum essen gehe, dann hier!
pizza was so hard , that's we couldn't cut it easily. Staff are very rude and they can't take care about customers
