friendly staff, but bad eating. very cheap for the upper village region. schnitzel was good, but the sose snuffed tge fries straight out of the box. there were more water in my salat than in my glass. munshy tasteless salate. sad to find such something. in such a tourist place
we liked the atmosphere here. it is very busy and people share tables. eating was traditionally German hearty farewell to a reasonable price (for oberstdorf, which is quite expensive in the ordinary). personal friendly and nice. I would come back here if I came to visit.
the restaurant has a beautiful pub-like atmosphere. good for a light lunch or dinner. we had carved and they were delicious. the fried swirl is perfect and one must.
