Went for dinner after a day of bike riding. We selected this restaurant based on Trip Advisor and our hotel desk’s recommendation. It was a dud! My wife has to eat Gluten Free due to Celiac Disease. They said no problem then proceeded to serve...her soup with liver spatzle which has wheat. Then they served her bread with her salad. Then her salad had bell peppers which she specifically requested no peppers. I had Weiner Schnitzel and fries. The fries tasted like they came frozen out of a bag and were heated on a tray. Wunderschöne Location direkt am See. Man kann am Wasser sitzen, im Biergarten oder im Innenbereich (Wintergarten) mit Blick aufs Wasser und auch auf die nahegelegene Seebühne. Am Abend ist das Wirtshaus sehr romantisch beleuchtet uns spiegelt sich im Wasser. Deftige lokale Küche wird angeboten und ist sehr schmackhaft. Das angebotene lokale 'Mohren Bier ' ist süffig, das Design der Gläser aber was in Deutschland derzeit heftig thematisiert wird aus der Zeit und wird wohl als rassistisch bezeichnet werden können. Das Personal ist flink und freundlich. Die Preise sind angemessen, Kartenzahlung ist möglich. Insgesamt ist das Wirtshaus ohne Einschränkung zu empfehlen.
we arrived late in bregenz and wanted an evening meal in this restaurant, which is located along the shores of the bottom lake, right next to the place where the city held its famous openair music performances in summer. we were welcome even though the kitchen was close. the food was very good (my son had the grillplatter and I had the cheese very typical of there: art pasta with cheese and fried wobble; not dietary but excellent.) her home made beer is also very good. our Bulgarian waiter was very nice and helpful and made our dinner a very nice experience.
Called into this restaurant for a drink at around 11pm, lots of people were there having a drink. Waiters were rude and surly, got the drinks wrong and when we pointed this out, the waiter became aggressive. Do not go here. Plenty of other friendly...bars nearby. Dreadful. The establishment was resting on its laurels as it was close to the water, with lovely views. No need to try. Walk by!

Der Restaurant ist innen sehr klein, aussen im Sommer sehr schön gelegen. Die Personal sind sehr freundlich und hilfsreich. Das Essen schmeckt gut und hat eine gute Qualität. Man wird schnell bedient und das Essen schnell reserviert. Die Preise aber entsprechend teuer wegen der Lage und die Ambiente. Alles in allem weiter zum Empfehlen.
We came for lunch and the setting was perfect. Direct at the lake you have a great view. The Wirtshaus is a rather large restaurant, but the service was to the point and always with a smile. The food was fresh and tasted very good!...The place is also great just for a drink in the afternoon!
Wir waren zweimal zum Essen da. Klasse Lage, viele Außenplätze. Oft sehr gut besucht, dennoch guter Service. Portionen für uns zu groß, hätte nicht sein müssen. Qualität in Ordnung, Preis gehoben. Man bezahlt für die Lage, aber die Speisen sind absolut in Ordnung.
Wir haben heute eine schöne Tisch kriegen. Personal war nett und freundlich. Nach dem Getränke hat Essen schnell bekommen und war auch schmackhaft. Werden wir nächste mal wieder kommen.
