I really hate to see the bad reviews because the food here is amazing! Been going here for the past 4 almost 5 years and every time has been superb! The farmers omelette is my go too, and to be honest the lady at the counter isn’t always smiley and sometimes might come off aggressive but I take no offense to that because this staff is always working so hard! They are busy all the time so I’m sure there might be a bad dish here or there. If you haven’t worked in the fast food industry you wouldn’t understand! I will continue to come and get their farmers omelette, and continue to support this establishment!
One of the most consistent restaurants in Eastern Market since I NEVER have an issue with anything I order from the menu. Other surrounding restaurants make a lot of mistakes, and then their chefs/staff yell at you or show attitudes if you point it out. You won't experience this at Zeff's, only appreciation of your business. Go here, where your money is appreciated!!
To members of the Pharmacy fraternity Phi Delta Chi, Alpha Eta chapter; Zeff's Coney Island is legendary. A combination of fine food, quick service and proximity to Wayne State University's School of Pharmacy's location in the 1980's made Zeff's a most agreeable part of one's education! To this date, reunions have and will take place at 2469 Russell.
We were visiting from Texas for a tradeshow and this place was located within walking distance to the TCF center. REALLY happy we stopped by--they have delicious and inexpensive breakfast options. The waitresses were also very nice! I would 100% come back here if I am ever in Detroit again. Thanks for making me feel at home while away from home

ATTENTION TRUCKERS !! Picking up a load? Waiting too long at Wolverine? If you can, this place is one block over. I got the #5 breakfast special, I'm telling you, it hit the spot !! especially the over-sized sausage links. Everything was tasty, and not bad on the price. Definitely recommended !!!
VERY fast service. Food was pretty good. Prices seem decent for portions. Definitely will return. Orders are made timely . Lots of sitting space, not much standing room... not that you 'll be waiting for looking. Very professional and 'friendly '.
I've been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years and the food is always good. The servers seem to not get along sometimes but otherwise its my favorite downtown coney island
Nice and clean inside, which is VERY important. Waitresses are friendly and check on you often. I like how fast I get my food while I watch them cook it and enjoy how good it is.

I got the salmon and fries it was good it may not look good but it tasted good. Quick service, nice workers. I would come back.
