surprisingly decent Thai food quality in a parramatta Hotel/Pub! I ordered the fried thai rice and had not expected much because of the environment, but it was actually quite good. a lot of taste in the rice. the one I noticed was that it had inherited and mais that I have never seen in Thai fried rice. it was a nice sweet supplement that balances the strong taste. this place is very busy with groups during lunch, so they are happy to steal a place!
We were looking for somewhere in Parramatta to have lunch and someone suggested the Woolpack Hotel. Great environment in a historic old pub with a modern decor, good location and I really enjoyed the Thai food - good value.
Great pub to fall into the heart of Parramatta. A weekly lunch trip for a great thai food. Around the corner of Pirek Stadium always fall a drink and a free sausage when the hikers play. Great Local!

"It must be poor etiquette to start a review with "I frikkin love this place", but I do! We all know the food isn't the best , but it's deep fried, oily goodness makes you come back for more. The overly heavy Cesar salad, the huge steaks, thick sauces, the bloomin onion. If all that isn't enough, you can get pints of beer. I'll be back, again, and again. Like I said the foods not the best, but let's be honest it's not the worst either, and where else can you get a bloomin onion ."
