The food was seriously less than subpar. The bbq wings were dry as hell with very little sauce. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich that had very little chicken on it, and what chicken it did have was pounded into nothing. It also seems like they only put a small dab of buffalo sauce. The fries were limp and covered in grease. My husband got a regular bbq cheese burger with bacon and onion rings. The burger was generic at best. Couldn’t taste the bbq sauce or the onion ring. The “music” playing, if you can call it that, was mind numbing elevator music that played on an endless loop until the Boomers came in for dinner, and then it changed to actual music. Can’t say anything about our service...
My wife and I went for lunch the host brought us to our table which was next to a couple that had two dogs in a baby carriage, the dogs were at are table height, another couple had a dog with them in their booth we asked for another and we were graciously accommodated, now I love dogs , I have a dog but there is a time and place for everything ,I know in Europe people bring their dogs to dinner and the lie on the floor.I could go with that. I think the owner is over the top with allowing it go this far.
Very good food and excellent portions. The schnitzels were huge but not overfilling. It is a small place but doesn’t feel that cramped. Only knock is the 3% credit card fee added to the check (thought NY law now required it be included in the menu price? that wasn’t noted anywhere except on the final bill.
This is a good option for a bar or family dinner, but was a slight letdown for us based on what we’d ordered. The mac and cheese was bland and the penne carbonara was soupy, but had good flavor. The highlights of the night were the friendly and attentive servers and the tasty cocktails.

Great old time German bar. Very bar and chops set up. I was surprised how crowded it was considering no one else was on warren st. The food was good. It needed gravy though. The schnitzel was served piling hot! The interior is beautiful and antique in a worn out well used way.
Food very tasty and sufficient portion for the price. At the beginning the restaurant is very dark when you come in from outside. Very friendly staff, only the service man from the kitchen could walk around the table instead of passing the plate across the table.
The restaurant has a pub-style atmosphere, but the food was really good. I ordered a delicious zoodle bowl that was quite interesting! The ambiance is casual and comfortable. Definitely worth a visit!
Burger really needs seasoning to be a burger. Also, there was a videographer in the restaurant who was videotaping for what seemed like a promo *without* customer consent. Server was nice.
