We went around 5:30pm on a Thursday and there was not much of a line and easy to find seats. I ordered the sampler which I picked bison, kangaroo, and the nurnberger. I also ordered a side pretzel with cheese and wow that was the best and softest pretzel I’ve had in years! The cheese dipping sauce was delicious almost tasted like it was mixed with Dijon mustard idk but it was great!Ambiance was nice. Good selection of imported beers. I would recommend friends and family. We left around 7pm and there was already a line forming and the tables filled up relatively quickly for the dinner rush.

3 year later edit: This place is still a five star spot and part of my monthly rotation on bars to visit: Why The food well priced and delicious. Getting a freshly made bratwurst of real quality and a wide variety of fixings (grilled onions, jalapeños, pretzel bread, bell peppers) is an uncommon find The beer Belgian and German beer on rotation. Many imports that stay on theme with the place- The vibe Trivia night on Wednesdays is a blast. The background is industrial and quieter if you want to talk with friends. Will keep coming back.

I love this place! they have four vegan options, clearly marked. there are two rolls, but only one is vegan, the traditional grinder (also marked). the Mexican spewurst is my favorite. I usually hold something here before/after in the cinema frida or after art walk. they are open quite late, which is perfect, but sometimes at a time at a week-end, their dining area/bar can be overcrowded and loud. Usually for a few friends we find sitting things good, but if we have a bigger group, it is difficult.

beautiful cool German beer cellar style place order hot dogs at the entrance area then on the back to order beer, while the hot dogs are prepared. many are available, but perhaps try to be too hard to be European instead of promoting local brewing that can be just as good. some strange not veggie hot dogs that might put some people out of wild boar? alligator? and calf that probably a deal breaker for me in view of some other options in the opposite. we loved everything we have with my very non-vegan brother and his family. I agree with the other review that I did not buy on board with the non- vegan options, but it was nice to find in the position to really good eating with my family where no one had to compromise. my bh was spicy and delicious! I liked that non-local beer, because I hadn't tried anything from those I had alone.
