Not positive evaluation because we had to wait 1 hour to be served with all plates arriving together (instead of first starter then second plate etc. , the waiter not telling us that shrimps were finished so we could have been waited for them.. And the restaurant was not full.. Quantities are not so big (except paella and quality is normal. Nothing exceptional as some people (not going frequently to Catalonia?? mentioned.. I would not come again, as I told the waiter. Stop making money on tourists thinking they will never come back.
Hi hem dinat avui i molt bé! El lloc idíl·lic, amb el mar davant, el menjar boníssim i el servei correcte. Destacar els calamars, frescos i boníssims, i sobretot el Pop a la planxa, espectacular, melós, dels millors que he menjat! També molt bones les croquetes, hem provat les de gorgonzola i anous, foie i ceps, i trompetes de la mort i moniato. De postres, el flam casolà boníssim! 100% recomanable, tornarem!
Stop for a drink and you have a plastic table, but eat and you get a tablecloth and serviette. Staff pleasant but very, very busy. My wife had mussels which were fine, I had fried calamaris which was a little too well fried, but edible. Other meals looked good so perhaps we made a bad choice. Would we return, yes we did but just for drinks. Lovely location looking out over the Mediterranean.
I 've been coming to Xaloc every year for about ten years now hopefully I 'll becoming for the next 10! Indoor or outdoor seating, the staff are always friendly and the food is fantastic especially the paella! It was the first, and still one of a very few restaurants that would make me paella 'para una ' (for one) when I was alone and they still do!

Croquetas calibre pequeño y de mala calidad. Navajas congeladas, duras y sin sabor por 13€ (7uds). El arroz superó nuestras expectativas referente a los productos anteriores, buen sofrito, huen fumet y excelente punto. El menú tenía muy buena pinta pero hicimos carta.
El mayor atractivo de este local es su ubicación, en un paseo estrecho frente al mar, el resto de servicios es mas discreto. Suele estar muy lleno. La atención no es muy buena. Para tomar una caña un día de paseo excelente.
Restaurant a primera línia de mar, amb unes vistes increïbles i un ambient molt tranquil. El servei ha estat excelent i el menjar encara millor. Apat que conclou amb un molt bon preu que fa de l’experiència tot un èxit.
Sí estás en San Pol de Mar y quieres comer, mirando al Mar estés es el restaurante perfecto. Buena comida casera, menú del día, buena atención y a primera línea del Mar que más se puede pedir!!
