I have to give this restaurant 3 stars. Initially, I was leaning towards 2 stars or less, but I decided to bump it up because of the friendly young lady at the register. My brother and I were seated at a table right by the entrance, despite requesting to sit in the back. We were told that area was reserved for larger parties, although we later noticed two girls who arrived after us seated there. Our order arrived in about 15 minutes, but our food took much longer to come out. We arrived at 12:30 p.m. but didn't get our meals until 1:40. Despite inquiring about our food three times, we saw other tables receiving their orders before us. When we asked why, we were told that some dishes take lon...

Ayahuasca inside Xaman Cafe was excellent! From the warm ambiance when you get in, to the intimate dining room, we were there to a good start. Service was very personal and hospitable and the food was very authentic and top notch! We had the Tostada de Insectos and the variety of Sopes made with nixtamal and the flavors created a nice explosion of sensations with nice balance flavors and delicious Mole. We also had el Pato and el Tuétano with Ribeye paired with some amazing cocktails El Brujo with Mezcal and a flight of Arette tequilas and wine from Coahuila Rivero Gonzalez. Thank you for the beautiful experience!

Went for anniversary. Dark, romantic lighting with electronica playing. Started with the insect tacos and the ceviche. The chicken tacos had a mole sauce combined with a red salsa that was unreal. The wild boar ribs with tamarind BBQ is the most delicate BBQ you’ve ever had. Finished with espresso flan. The only knock is that our waiter was taking shots (reflected in other reviews) and the food could have been warmer Book a table now

Evening. Dark, romantic lighting with electronic games. Started with the insects Tacos and the Ceviche. The chicken tacos had a mol sauce combined with a red salsa that was ineffective. The wild boar ribs with Tamarinden BBQ is the most tsarcastic BBQ you ever had. Ready with espresso flan. The only knock is that our waiter has shot (in other reviews) and the food could have been warmer

Our waiter, Ozzy, was fantastic! Hailing from Juarez, he had a deep knowledge and passion for sotol from the Mexican and Texan regions. The drinks were superb and the dining experience was top-notch. Overall, it was a fun evening at a one-of-a-kind establishment.
