This is my first time feeling I needed to write a review. This restaurant is a 4.8 overall, and highly suggested online in the Columbus area. In reality, its not worth a 1 star. I ordered General Tsos, for $15, you get about 6 pieces (not big) of chicken. Its dry, and burnt. It has no real flavor, just tons of spiceyness. You get a ton of rice, yay. On the rice, is this dried up, sad looking egg. It looks like it was left on the counter to marinate in open air for a few days and slapped on the rice as some sad attempt to mask how terrible this meal is. Again, $15. There are DOZENS of chinese restaurants on door dash with cheaper general Tsos, you get 4x the food, and its not nearly as sad. D...
The Curry Beef Over Rice was disappointing as it contained very little beef. It was served in a takeout container with the beef and rice separated, making it impossible to enjoy them together. As for the flavor, the curry was quite lacking. The General Tso’s Chicken Over Rice had the same issue, as it was also served separately. The chicken itself tasted low quality and was definitely spicier than expected—too spicy for my girlfriend, who could only enjoy the rice. There was no indication on the menu that it would be so spicy, unlike other dishes that did provide a warning.
Smallest dinner portion Ive ever received. Normal rectangular sized plastic Chinese food container, but separated by divider into 1/3 and 2/3 sections. The rice was in the 2/3 section and the "spicy" chicken and veg in the 1/3 section. Order soup or an appetizer or you will go hungry. I dont mind paying 2.25 for a can of cold coke, but what do you think happens whenyou put a cold coke in the same bag as the hot food for 15 mins? Happy House is a much better option nearby. They were closed today and this was so disappointing.
The name is the same. I'm not sure if the ownership has changed but the restaurant is now more of a sichuan style restaurant than it's original roots (I had heard that in between it had become a noodle place). The bone broth vermicelli is excellent as is the spicy beef stew. I also liked their Dan Dan noodles and their Chinese broccoli. Overall, excellent flavors!

Absolutely delicious food. The restaurant itself is nice, clean, and has a good ambiance. Service was great. And the food is legit, delicious, definitely some of the best Chinese food you can find in the city, and they serve stuff that's hard to find elsewhere.We really are lucky that good food like this exists in Columbus of all places
This place is so amazing!! I'm so happy I found Xi Xia in Columbus. They make legit hand pulled noodles, and they make their broth the day before and you can definitely tell! Their beef noodle soup is soo good! I will definitely be back.

Convenient location, excellent service and great food. All of the options we've tried have been great (noodle options are the best in the city) and we will remain regular customers as long as they keep it up!

I ate spicy pork sausage noodles, and my mother ate Xixia special fried noodles (braised beef). Generally speaking, it is a good place with an authentic taste of hometown. Everything is great.
