This is a great little seaside chiringuito or pop-up beach bar... Only open in the summer months, it has outdoor seating and a bar plus a small kitchen, but a very decent range of ice creams, horchata, bar drinks and tapas. El Xato fronts onto the small dunes and boardwalk that runs from Casablanca to Corinto, although it has parking to the rear as well. The best way to get there is on bike or by foot, so you can soak up the seaside vibes. Very popular with locals, this place has been going for years in various locations. Highly recommended.
