Easily the worst Malaysian food I have had in a long time. I ordered the Nasi Lemak with curry chicken and here's how it turned out: 1. The chicken pieces were incredibly bony, to the point where maybe 2/10th's of what was presented was edible...(the rest was bones... i.e. 8/10). 2. The edible 2/10th's was dry but mostly average 3. The curry in itself was ok I didnt hate it but relative to other prominent malaysian restaurants (such as Ho Jiak, Sepak, or even the spice alley place and papa rich) this was most definitely subpar at best. Overall, I think the general vibe of this place was ok. Nevertheless, the food was thoroughly disappointing I'm not saying I don't recommend it, I'm just sayi...
Quite authentic Malaysian cuisine with friendly service. There are lunch specials on Monday to Friday starting from $10 upwards. Tried one of their noodle dishes and enjoyed it. This place does not close in the afternoon and one of the places that you can get...a meal if you are looking for a meal after 3pm. There were quite a few people here on a late Saturday afternoon.
There’s one thing that brings the diversity of Malaysian cultures together. Food. If you know a Malaysian you’ll also know that he she is an annoying food critic. Luckily for me, my Malaysian wife rates this highly. So do I. 10/10 for the authentic...vegetarian curry that I had. All meals there are highly recommended. Very friendly and helpful staff. Yep, we’ll be back.
I ordered the nasi lemak with beef rendang and it did not disappoint. As a big fan of nasi lemak, I found it to be incredibly flavorful and perfect. I will definitely be back during my two weeks in Sydney. It is surprisingly affordable compared to Brisbane, so maybe Sydney residents don't realize how lucky they are. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Laksa bowl in huge! But spicy. You will get hot. I ordered the eggplant stir fry which was also spicy. On menu there is a small red chilli icon next to some meals. If you don’t like hot spicy meals avoid these ones on the...menu. Friendly happy staff. Busy of a Saturday night. Easy to find on Church Street. Eat inside or out. Would attend again
Absolutely beautiful food. I ordered a vegetable laksa, I requested removal of all allergenic ingredients and inclusion of additional ingredients, they accommodated me perfectly with extremely fresh and delicious food. I'm so happy I'll definitely go back to enjoy that meal again soon should God...permit.
I enjoyed my meals here. Not just because it is value for money and the food are good, the staff here are friendly and prompt to details. I had Nasi Goreng And was struggling a bit with the spiciness when a staff noticed it and...promptly dished out a warm chicken soup just for me! Kudos and thank you.
We have dined at this restaurant multiple times and have always enjoyed the food. However, our recent experience with the staff and food was terrible. It seems like there are new owners now. We will not be returning as it is not the same. It's a shame that it's under new ownership.

I consider myself a Laksa expert and am often disappointed, even in Malaysia. These folks got it right. I had the combo, but next time I'll try the bark. Service was friendly and fast. I don't live nearby.
