I think the food would be 3.5 as the fish itself was fresh and delicious the right temperature and right texture, size and taste. The rice itself was pretty horrid. I wouldn't eat the rice on its own let alone with the fresh fish... HARD, NUT LIKE AND DRY. I the saving grace was the fish itself. If I go back I will stick with sashimi. I ordered a la carte chutoro, hotate, botan ebi, yellowtail (2x) and a spicy scallop roll. The fish...on point. The rice truly, truly lacking and brings down the experience. We just moved closer to this area so we wanted to try out this place. I love sushi and my boyfriend loves steak bowls. The food was really good and I’m typically picky about my sushi. I got the Dragon Roll and it was delicious! My boyfriend got the steak bowl and he said it was really good as well! We will definitely be going back!
This is the best sushi I've experienced in Virginia—so much so that I returned just two days later! The service was exceptional as well. The interior decor is beautifully designed, clean, and bright. Overall, it’s a fantastic establishment that I’m eager to support. I’ll definitely be back soon! I really love the sushi here.
Traditionally greeted as we walked in. Sushi was delicious. Entree was plentiful and tasty. It's definitely my new first choice when I'm in that area.
