I finally visited Yasuke in South McAllen. I wanted to take my wife out for dinner, and since I'm not particularly fond of sushi rolls or Asian cuisine, we decided to try Yasuke. Upon entering, I was struck by the beautiful ambiance; the restaurant was packed with guests, and there were even more waiting. The staff was welcoming, and the young lady who attended to our table was incredibly helpful and attentive. When our food arrived, we were blown away. It was fresh and flavorful, and we agreed that we would return soon, this time with some friends. The owner, Alex, was very kind, which motivated me to write this review and give it a perfect rating. Must-try! After craving sushi and ramen, we decided to try this place. The freshness of the food is outstanding. The combination of flavors in the ramen noodles is among the best I've ever tasted. I highly recommend the Fortune Roll and the ramen noodles with tempura shrimp. Our waiter, Farando, was incredibly helpful and attentive, especially after we mentioned it was our first visit. The atmosphere and service were fantastic; overall, my partner and I had a wonderful experience, and we will definitely be returning!

This restaurant has a great atmosphere, fantastic fresh seafood, a wide-ranging menu, quick service, and the friendliest staff. The drinks are both strong and delicious, and the food is consistently outstanding. I can't stop thinking about the soft shell crab! If I lived in McAllen, I would visit more frequently, but I make the trip from Brownsville every couple of weeks just to enjoy the sushi.
