The food and drinks at this restaurant were outstanding. However, I had a negative experience with the staff who were rude to me because of someone I was with. Despite my attempts to address the situation, they blamed me for the poor service which seemed to be a reflection of their negative attitude towards customers on a Sunday, likely following a challenging Saturday night. It is unacceptable. I tried to defend them, but it was not enough.
The food at this restaurant was incredible. My partner had the Knight burger with cheese and bacon, and I had the club wrap. Both dishes came with chips and salad. Despite not being able to finish our meals, they were so delicious that we couldn't stop eating! We definitely needed a walk around town afterwards. We sat outside and enjoyed the lovely view of the castle and cathedral.
We only called in for a couple of drinks, one afternoon after visiting the cathedral. Sat outside in the beer garden in the sun, and watched the world go by. Pleasant staff, we didnt eat, but the food looked good.
