We had dinner here while visiting the area. The restaurant is something on the upper side and we were dressed under, so I felt a little unpleasant. The dining room we ate had such a charm. The food was decent and for the price with dessert and salad it was a good value, but on the high side. We had four kids with our party and they were actuative. Great service, great character/charm, good food, price on the high side, but value. I'd be dressed right again and with the kids at home.
Okay, we were there, but I'm still not sure where it is. Apparently this place is serious in the middle of nowhere, and I may not mean it. However, this said our dinner was very good, as they are trying to cope with this covidence crisis. Look at this place while you go to the shore in the warmer months, as it is about half the way down. This is a beautiful old guest house and a good restaurant.
Food is excellent! The bisque for seafood is to die! Pig pliers are amazing. The reason for only 4 stars is the building itself needs a delicate loving care, but it is the oldest inn in NJ and 2. oldest in the country. The staff was friendly and very welcoming.
Great place. I had a desire for her Centerton Salad, but really not inside eating during those times. I called and put an exclusion order for a smooth transaction. The order was made when I arrived and they brought our salads to us. Stop the good work.
