The braised beef with stout is to die for! The jarret d'agneau was also excellent as was the hamburger with bacon and spicy peppers. The fish and chips was much enjoyed too as well as the steak and mushroom pie. Their sangria (with red wine) was so pretty too in layers of different colours. The portions are very generous and we did not have room for dessert!
I have previously(3-4 years ago) said this was expensive pub food, but this time, I would say the prices are just right. The portions are big but not overly. The service was good considering how busy it was. Hostess was accomodating when we ask to no be seated next to the entrance. A big plus is the server children and have a decent kids menu.
Excellent, friendly service and an overall great place to sit and chill with friends. Food is above average, however it is hard to tell since we only ordered appetizers this time. I'm sure the main dishes are as good as I've heard from others. Definitely a great spot to have a few drinks and then have a nice walk (or stumble) near the water.
Enjoyed lunch with a beer on route to Montreal. Service was good. Burger was good. Came with lots of fries but they were cut too thin and were over cooked. Later that day wasn't feeling so great though and that led to some extra time in the washroom. Will leave it at that. Don't know what it was specifically as things tasted good. Book a table now
We decided to go for a drink with a coworker and ended up eating there I hade the poutine it was very delish and my hubby hade the hamburger ? he said it was good the service was really good and for drinks I hade a long Island ice tea and hubby hade a beer ? I would definitely go back very friendly place
We were greeted with a smile sat on patio right away. Server Madelyn welcomed us asked what we would like. She came back with our Guinness she poured perfectly. We order food that was awesome. Thanks to the kitchen. Madelyn was great give her a raise! Will be back on my next trip back
Service was fast and extremely friendly, it's a cozy place with a warm welcoming atmosphere.I ordered a burger, it was very tender and jucy, fries perfectly cooked and salted.They have a nice variety of alcohol drinks.Parking is available.Highly recommended.
For my wife birthday, we went there on Sunday 23rd July lunch time. It was a sunny day but slightly chill with the wind. I have been here several times before with my adult children, and each time we enjoy the food, the place, and the service. Book a table now
A great place to finish off the weekend with super selection of refined pub fare. Personal faves are the BBQ cider wings and the year Olde Orchard burger (downed with a cold Rolling Rock). Service is pretty quick and always friendly.
