We randomly decided to stop by this charming traditional pub while exploring Evesham High Street. The staff were fantastic - very friendly and enjoyable to interact with. However, we were disappointed when our order took a while to arrive and the plates were cold with a hot meal on them. The food itself was fairly good, but I believe serving hot food on cold plates is not ideal. On the bright side, the real ale was excellent and well-maintained. Unfortunately, we found the men's restroom to be quite unclean, with the floor covered in unpleasant substances. Overall, it was a mixed experience and although we probably wouldn't return, it wasn't a completely negative one.
I stayed in Evesham for a few days and decided to stop by this restaurant with my dog while out for a walk. The staff were friendly and the locals were welcoming and talkative. The small fountain in the beer garden was relaxing. My dog was hungry and doesn't eat dog food, so the chef kindly brought him some fresh chicken. It was such a kind and thoughtful gesture. I will definitely be returning, as I really enjoyed my experience.
Stopped in randomly for drinks on a Saturday as we heard it was dog friendly and had a good atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. The staff were great towards our 3 year old and our dog was happy to be allowed inside. The ale was on point as well. We are looking forward to returning very soon!
The Red Horse is a country pub in the town.Beams open fire and very good food.The steaks especially the food is home made and that makes a difference. The pub is well run the beer kept to perfection and great service provided by dedicated friendly staff. In my opinion the best pub in Evesham

Not as cosy as picture makes out. Beers are good and well kept.music nights are fun. Some interesting evesham characters brighten up the place.real old pub no food.but food can be brought in.good baked spud shop next door.
I only stopped by for a drink while meeting friends, but I had a pleasant experience in the beautiful courtyard at the back. The restaurant is also dog-friendly, but pets are not allowed inside the dining area.
Nice pub just a little weslle called fran behind the bar the owner is no better avoid at all costs the sooner it is taken over buy someone the can run it properly the better
They have a wonderful beer made by the Wye Brewery called Hereford Ale. The service is friendly and they have a real fireplace.
