in December we stayed here. very christmas, roaring log fire, candles and decorations, and many corners and cracks. eating was good pub dug, steak and ale-pie, beautiful roast. great beer. the room was very quirky, slanted floors (they had to cut the bed and the wardrobe legs to let them stand straight, diamond-pandered windows with view of the village square and the Christmas tree. the bathroom was tiny and in an unpleasant room, but ok. the only parts were that the room was free, although they did that, and the breakfast was a cold serving itself buffet left in the night as the staff went home. pre-packed Danish baked, instant coffee, make her own toast, it was also a bit early for a Sunda...
