Today, I ordered a large chicken fried rice and was disappointed to find that the chicken was too chunky and dry. The rice was also overcooked. When I called to raise my concerns, the woman who claimed to be the manager informed me that they were already aware of the rice being overcooked and gummy. She said there was nothing they could do about it and mentioned it was the second time this issue had happened. I asked why, if they knew the rice was overcooked, they continued to serve it to customers without any warning. As a genuine lover of authentic Chinese cuisine who also enjoys fast American food, I was pleasantly surprised by Yen Ching Chinese. Don’t be fooled by their Chinese-American menu—they truly excel in their cooking! I appreciate how they’re happy to customize dishes and clearly understand my requests. My favorite is the beef and broccoli, which I like with Chow Fun instead of rice. Their Chinese eggplant is also fantastic. They even made a special dish just for me—fish and eggplant with Chow Fun. Having tried about a third of their menu, I can say everything has been delicious. This place is far better than other fast Chinese restaurants nearby, and I highly recommend it.
As an authentic Chinese food lover, this is my go-to spot for quick Americanized Chinese cuisine. Don't be misled by the Chinese-American menu—they really know how to cook! I appreciate that they customize dishes exactly as requested and clearly understand your order. I often get Beef and Broccoli, swapping the rice for an upcharged plain chow fun. Their Chinese Eggplant is also a favorite. They even created a special dish for me: fish and eggplant with chow fun, which I truly appreciated. I've tried about a third of their menu, and everything has been great—definitely better than many other fast Chinese places nearby. Highly recommended!
I absolutely love this restaurant! I'm thrilled to have discovered a Chinese eatery that uses fresh meats and vegetables in every dish. Other places often serve food that tastes stale, but Yen Ching consistently delivers freshness. The food is always delicious, the service is excellent, and everything is served quickly!

I was enjoying some delicious orange chicken at Yen Ching Chinese when suddenly a bright yellow jeep crashed through the doors, completely disregarding everyone's safety. I had to drop my meal and quickly get out. I won’t be coming back—it was too traumatic for me and my cats.
When I first moved here, the food was fantastic! However, the quality declined over time, and we eventually stopped ordering. I decided to give it another try after 10 years, but it was even worse than I remembered. I definitely won't be ordering from here again.
I had a disappointing experience at Yen Ching Chinese. The staff were quite rude, which made me feel uncomfortable. Additionally, the food was overly salty. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.
