Yianni Taverna is the most authentic Greek experience in the Coachella Valley. It is so completely refined that I like to call it Greek Disneyland! This is not only a restaurant, it is also a bakery and market with all classic desserts and unique import items that you cannot find any other place. You have a beautiful garden terrace with fig trees, vines and everything you would find in a Greek garden. You get the feeling you are in a restaurant in Santorini or Mykonos instead of Palm Springs. OMG! This is the best authentic Greek food I ever had! And I ate in Athens, Greece. The Greek ribs should die. It's like the food is being transported fresh into this kitchen. The Kofetdes taste is so delicious, the reaction to the people's faces after a bite is unpaid. Our beautiful Greek goddess of a host was so sweet. And the picturesque market has all kinds of directly from the Isles products. Not always to be forgotten.

Went back to Yiannis in late Dec. 2021. Very disappointed. Price was much higher. They charge everything extra, including little pita bread. Paid almost $200 for 4. Went out to look for more food after leaving Yannis Will not recommend this restaurant

This restaurant is so delicious! During her visit she took my 80-year-old Greek aunt for dinner and she loved it. It reminded her of a restaurant to which her father brought her as a little girl. The service is great and the food is amazing. Go!
