I dropped by for lunch and tried the Big Bad Wolf sandwich, which features pulled pork, griddled spam, and thick-cut smoked bacon. It was an absolute monster of a sandwich—definitely one of the best I've ever had! My wife ordered the prawn and Marie Rose sandwich, and it was fantastic as well. I highly recommend the chips; they were superb. There’s a great selection of real ales, and the staff are really friendly. I highly recommend this place!
Another fantastic local pub with an excellent selection of real ale, including a pint of Taylor's Landlord, a long-time favorite from a legendary Yorkshire brewery. It's a lovely spot! Personally, I would prefer if there were fewer TVs around.
we visited on May-day bank holidays with our children and were very welcome. there was a large selection of drinks and the pub was immaculately clean and we were even playing cards etc. offered. wants to visit again
1. Visit here and they can bring their dog that was great. beautiful bar and sitting area. friendly staff. excellent outdoor seating area.
