First, the food is fine, the service is great and the staff is wonderful with the exception of an rude and ignorant front of the house cashier. For more than two years I've been eating at the restaurant about five days a week when I was in town... I enjoyed the food, the service, the other males and the staff with the exception of one cashier. Mostly, I would pay by debit card without problems, but if the cashier was present, she would refuse to accept the card for the reason that the minimum expenses were not fulfilled. I explained that I was not the only patron who did not meet the requirements and that she was the only cashier who did not accept the card and was spoken in an extremely rud...
I can't say how terrible this experience was on this app. It wouldn't be published. Staff, especially the female, are extremely rude and dirty. I mean, they need a shower. The staff has no label in service. They look like they are not interested and patrons are able. As far as food is concerned, it was fat, tasteless and I wait for a bad intestine tomorrow. Save your money and don't go here
I guess for students, this is the idea place for cheap Asian eats with generous portions. But after two attempts I stopped going there as I was appalled how much water I craved after every bite of their food. How much salt and/or MSG did...they put in their meals?!?! My tongue was left with this bitterness and heaviness of salty taste, which was rather unpleasant. Would never go back again.
Kelvin Grove village Chinese. Lived and freshly cooked. Many international students so prices and menu is good. It was a long time ago. Not so many of the local Chinese takeaway nowadays. My boys and I preferred the ashgrove Chinese cuisine at 211... Waterwork Rd but both are good.
