Yum Cha i would have to say is one of the nicest ,tastiest and welcoming restaurants around Surfers Paradise, i used to work just near them and maybe 3/4 times a week i would get a lunch special meal from Yum Cha. my favourite was the steamed chicken and rice, and if i took my son there he absolutely loves the steamed chicken with e curry sauce. Always fresh meat and tastes so good very visit. iv never had any problems with the food quality or the customer service, all the staff are very friendly and welcoming to everyone.
I asked ahead of ordering if all dumplings / dim sims were prepared fresh on site and head was nodded in response to yes.Of cause they are prepared fresh onsite - Fresh from the frozen packet, directly to the microwave.Very disappointing and a total waste of money.Pork spare rib in black bean sauce was terrible. The meat was reheated, dry and chewy in a watery, tasteless broth.You guys need to up your game or close shop, because you are ripping people off with the rubbish food you call 'Yum-Cha'#nothappy
Wow. So pleasantly surprised to receive such a delicious and beautifully presented lunch, and on a busy Friday, school holidays afternoon. The service was efficient, friendly and fast. The lunch (soy chicken noodle soup) was incredibly generous for a small $12:50. I had 3 times the chicken than I had in my $35 Chinese takeaway last night. I thoroughly recommend this place.
I had lunch here today and was very impressed at how fresh and tasty the meal was. I had the Deep Fried Garlic Chicken and Noodle Soup which was delicious. My husband had Prawn Won Ton Soup and enjoyed his equally. I have just read a couple of negative reviews, however our experience was very enjoyable so I can recommend Yum Cha Noodle Haus.

We went using a Groupon deal, but it really didn't feel like a 'deal'. We didn't get much food for what we paid and it was meant to be a buffet for 2. Some of the items didn't have much flavour. It was difficult to get the attention of the waitstaff even though the place was almost empty. On a positive note, the inside is so beautiful!
Since I am working in Surfers, so I come here quite often. Today I found the cockroach in my rice and the chef seems doesn't understand what the hygiene is!!!!! The waitress refunded the money back to me but that not the point!The point is no standard of the restaurant !!! Disappointed
After being used to the excellent Yum Cha restaurants in Melbourne this was very disappointing. The food seems to be possibly frozen or from a packet and heated, it certainly wasn't freshly made.
Nice menu. Great prices. Casual atmosphere. Friendly service. Just a really comfortable and satisfying experience. Will be back!
