We get takeout from here frequently. Service is always very friendly the food is always excellent. This time I ordered Miso Ramen featuring pork miso broth with ramen noodles, chashu pork, fish cakes, gailan (Chinese broccoli), sweet corn, (86 nitamago the soft-boiled seasoned egg), add bamboo shoots seaweed. Wow, talk about a bowl of deliciousness. I preferred this pork over other pork ramens from other restaurants. It was more meaty less fatty, very tender super flavorful. The broccoli, corn bamboo shoots were nice added great flavor texture. The broth was very good even better after I hit it with a dash of sriracha. The texture of the fish cake didn 't appeal to me so I skipped that. My w...

I am a fan of Asian cuisine and understand that certain dishes require specific ingredients to be authentic. However, some Asian restaurants in the South take advantage of customers who are unfamiliar with the ingredients needed for popular dishes. My advice is to research and educate yourself on the ingredients of dishes like shrimp lo mein or pad Thai. As someone who has traveled extensively in Southeast Asia, I have knowledge of the authentic flavors of dishes from Thailand, Japan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Korea. You can also learn about these dishes by watching YouTube videos and cooking tutorials. If you order a dish and find that it is missing key ingredients, such as tofu, drie...
Very small restaurant with a great vibe. You definitely feel like you are being cooked for individually since there are so few tables available in the restaurant, almost like a street cart.We started off with the street bite plate appetizer which had a great variety of small bites and an array of sauces for dipping, the only thing that was not made to order were the dumplings. I tried to order Miso Ramen for my entree but they were out of ramen noodles for the day. We ended up ordering drunken noodles and Pad Thai, both were good and made to order.Fun place, and you can tell the owners really care about the business and do everything they can to make it as good as possible.I noticed they had...
Fantastic! My wife and I enjoyed a delicious lunch at this restaurant. We ordered the street bite platter to share, which was generous in portion size and allowed us to try a variety of items. The platter came with 4 unique dipping sauces, each offering a different flavor profile. The sweet and tangy combination was perfect. For dessert, we shared a slice of the pineapple cake, which was also a hit. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was super friendly. We were informed that the menu changes regularly with new specials each month, so we look forward to returning to try more dishes in the future. Book a table now
The food is absolutely delicious and so unique! We got the fried pork gyoza with curry dipping sauce and it was the most crispy gyoza I've ever had. The curry sauce was spicy and ridiculously flavorful. Also you HAVE to try the drunken noodles! The noodles are thin and delightfully chewy and coated in a sticky savory-sweet sauce. I haven't had anything like it before! Service was a bit slow, but it was understandable since it was busy. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
Highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to experience some new flavors. I went during lunch, so I received soup and a spring roll along with my meal. I had never tried tom kha coconut soup before, but now I think it's one of my favorites! The massamun curry was also great. The main flavor was definitely cashews, but it wasn't too overpowering. Give this place a visit the next time you're in the area!
I absolutely love this place! While I'm not usually a big fan of Thai food, I sometimes crave it, and now Yum Yai has become a go-to spot for those times. The service is warm and attentive, the food is tasty and satisfying, and the atmosphere is cozy and laid-back - the perfect combination for a delicious meal. I highly recommend it.
