Had been previously to zaap at the York restaurant when I was vegetarian so was excited to try their vegan stuff. Nothing on the menu is labelled as vegan, which was so confusing. Was given a vegetarian menu and told firstly that anything could be made vegan. So when we actually ordered starters, we were told only the steamed dumplings were vegan and nothing else could be made vegan. We got the dumplings. They weren’t special, lacked flavour and were so wet and soggy. For mains we got a green Thai curry with tofu and a massaman with tofu. They arrived quickly and were big portions, however the flavours didn’t excite me. Was very watery and didn’t have much spice. Felt like I’d had many bette...

This Thai restaurant in the city center offers a separate menu for vegan and vegetarian options. I tried the drunken noodles, which were good but not exceptional. My friend ordered the massaman curry and really enjoyed it. We also had cocktails, including one with blue color that I can't recall the ingredients of. My cocktail was similar to a martini with passion fruit, vanilla vodka, and a shot of Prosecco. It's a great option if you're dining with non-vegetarians. The decor is cool, resembling a Thai street food market, and having visited one myself, I can confirm that it's realistic.

I decided to try the massaman curry with plant-based prawns and edamame beans. The curry was rich and flavorful, and I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the plant-based prawns. While I wish the venue was fully vegan, I still thoroughly enjoyed my meal and would give it 5 stars if it were. I love the street food decor and the overall ambiance of the restaurant, and the food never fails to impress me. I will definitely continue to dine here whenever I am in Leeds.

I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. They offer plant-based options like chicken, prawns, or tofu. However, the menu does not have specific labels for vegan dishes, which may be challenging for customers who are not familiar with vegan food. This could make it a tricky place to eat for those who are more cautious or particular about their food choices.
