I have been frequenting Zalo's restaurant multiple times a week for the past 9 months since moving to the area. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, and the staff always greets us warmly. The service is friendly and efficient, making it easy for us to stop in for a quick coffee whenever we feel like it. What sets Zalo's apart is that it is the perfect place to bring my 9-month-old daughter for her daily dose of people-watching. This restaurant is not kid-friendly at all. I have been there twice and both times the lady waitress and the bartender were not welcoming to children. The first time, they told me to turn down my phone volume even though my baby was watching COcomelon quietly at our table. Today, my baby was quietly looking out the window and walking around, not bothering anyone. The waitress still told me to keep my baby quiet, even though he wasn't being disruptive. She even stepped on him when she could have walked around him. Other customers have also mentioned her rudeness. I like the food at this restaurant, but I will not be returning due to the unfriendly staff.
I used to work nearby and I'd go often. Probably better for takeout as the place is always heaving it can be difficult to find a table. If you want to be served quickly it's best not to go around lunch time but early morning. I always really enjoyed my early morning quiet breakfasts before work. Their poached eggs are some of the best I've had. Always really consistent food from here. Staff are friendly and the place is spotless. I would definitely recommend.
Great place and amazing staff but it is freezing cold because the door does not properly close and when people come in and out an icy chill gushes through the whole place. Management need to add an extra lobby and have a second door to stop this happening. And the existing entrance door needs to be made to fit properly.

Great cafe in Latchford. Very clean modern seating area with plenty of space. Very friendly professional staff who are attentive but not intrusive. Quick service... fantastic coffee... amazing Turkish breakfast... gluten free no problem. Lots of interesting menu choices for breakfast and lunch.
Very popular, extremely busy cafe with a great menu. Very friendly and welcoming staff who work incredibly hard to get orders out quickly even when the cafe is packed. Turkish breakfast is fantastic... make sure you are very hungry!
We are frequent visitors to Zalos. Lovely atmosphere, great staff… fabulous food. Coffee (Lavazza) is brewed just to my taste and the Turkish Apple Tea always pleases my wife. Always ready to come back again.
The chicken kabab and full English breakfast at this restaurant were amazing. The ice coffee and hot chocolate were also delicious. The staff was great too, very friendly.
