Went to grab a quick dinner and the two girls behind the counter were more interested in themselves then serving. Music was good but blaring. I like the food a lot but I am not surprised to see more complaints about the lack of service. Being polite I said thanks to both girls on way out. I said it again and once more for good measure before either of them stopped chatting to each other and said and realised I was walking out. I guess we should not expect too much from service people these days. It's not like they really have to work for their wages...and people wonder why young Aussies can't get jobs.
We suddenly realised that options were limited for our evening meal when we returned to Adelaide after a full day in Barossa with so many places closed on the public holiday. After a frustrating wander around, we decided to give this place a try and take vegetarian burritos back to our hotel to go with a really nice bottle of wine.The food was good enough and certainly filling, albeit not quite up to the standard of the wine we had brought over with us from WA. But when needs must, I would return.
this is my usual place to go if I need a lunch option for work or a social outing. they compensate the price by allowing double beans and double rice without additional price. vegan cheese and vegan sour cream can be added for $1 that is not too expensive. eating is the price for what they get. never changed and dissatisfied. the personal is also beautiful. highly recommended if they are in burritos
The food is great, we went back several times because it was that good. The quesadilla are just the right size for one person and the burritos are just fantastic. If you're anywhere near Hindley Street, pop in and order some great food, your money contributes to meals for those who have no food in countries like asia, africa and south america. Go on, what a better way to enjoy good food.
