The food is consistently excellent, and Freida at the Monte Cristo location provided efficient and attentive service. However, the atmosphere left much to be desired due to the oppressive heat and humidity inside the restaurant, similar to my previous visit. The ceiling fans are outdated, and the air conditioning unit isn't functioning properly. I recommended to the staff that they would greatly benefit from installing a mini-split system, especially considering how often this venue is visited.
Got the shredded beef flautas, everything tasted delicious, beef was seasoned very well and super tender! Huge serving well worth the money! I normally don’t review or take pictures of my food but this was amazing and hit the spot. Great service! Make sure you check them out. I will definitely be back.
The food and sweet tea are excellent, whether it's breakfast or lunch. The pancakes areSpot on. Today, we tried the fajita botana and caldo de res, and both were delicious. The portion sizes are generous!
