The food was outstanding! The service was fast but the staff was a bit “abrasive.” We ordered a specific platter which was then served to us with an additional order of falafel (which was incredible) however it was not part of the platter, was not ordered by us and we were charged $16. When we inquired after getting the bill the owner stated that the two “just had to be eaten together. “ it just didn’t feel right to have something added to our order and then charged for it. Again, the food was incredible and I will go back but I’ll be more clear when ordering and double checking when food arrives. Overall a bit pricey but delicious. Best falafel I’ve eaten to date.
The food was excellent, as usual; however, I had a really unpleasant encounter with the owner, which makes me hesitant to recommend this restaurant. I'm willing to give it another chance, hoping that he was just having an off day. Still, it was quite unsettling.
Eating was good as always, but had a very bad experience with the owner who would make me cautious about the recommended this place. I want to try again. he had only a bad day. but it was very disturbing.
First time there and everything we had (including a lamb shank recommended by Omar, the owner) was really excellent, especially the shredded phyllo dough and cheese dessert. Will definitely go back.
