THE BREAD IS NOT VEGAN. They will not say that. They will not correct you. I have gone 4 times. The first time I asked Is the bread vegan and they said yes. I ask the same question the second and third time. Same answer. The fourth time, they told me it isn 't. I am actually really annoyed about that. So now I get the tofu satay (actually vegan) on a rice wrap. Super good!
I've visited this place so far. I ordered the veggie tempura, which is advertised as a vegan on their menu. Take it home, bite it and immediately taste shrimp. This is what I don't check for when I know it's not a vegan restaurant. Updated by previous review on 2018-01-13
Zenwich is a small casual sandwich, salad soup. We had the veggie tempura sandwich and the tofu satay sandwich. They were both delicious. Vegan goods were clearly marked. I'd never eat here again.
Only 1 vegan option. Not very helpful. I found out they had tofu. But the cashier was not helpful when I asked about vegan option. Oh, good.
