We booked based on Google reviews.we were traveling through Fenlon on the boat. On first 9impression it was a quaint older home with what appeared to be great atmosphere. The initial drink order took 20 minutes which, being a long weekend was ok. We ordered apps. Grilled calamari, mussels and warm olives. The olives were delicious. The one small piece of calamari was not grilled and raw in the middle. Out of the 20 or so mussels at least 5 mussels were closed and left in bowl and was a watery flavorless sauce. Read pretty good reviews so decided we'd take a drive and try it. Not all was bad but my main course certainly was. Was sick about 2 hours later. More disappointing, I called the restaurant when they opened the next day, explained left a message for manager or owner to call me as I thought this was an urgent issue. 3 hours later, no call. For a highly rated restaurant, that is poor service in my books. Couple next to us had to send back the mussels because of how bad they smelled. Chef is obviously trying to use up old product.
We love this place. The service was awesome, and the food was delicious. Great wine selection, and the after 8 creme brulee was out of this world.Highly recommend.
We had such a wonderful lunch today.The staff were fantastic and so friendly. Our meal was perfect. Absolutely great price for the quality and service.
