ZIZOU Brasserie & Bar

The place is popular, it tends to be full in the evenings even during he week (which is a good sign). The food is okay, nothing special and the prices are on he high side for the food on offer especially if you compare...it to the many restaurants close by. I came with high expectations and I was somewhat disappointed. It was not particularly comfortable or cosy, it was quite noisy. The service was friendly but the environment did not appeal

Really nice place in Essen Rüttenscheid which is the gastronomic quarter of the city. Second time we visit Zizou and both times everything was very good. The menu offers you a trendy fusion kitchen and also german classics made in a modern style like the...Veal Schnitzel which was quite delicious. Staff and Service was very friendly and always in the spot. I just can recommend it

this place has a great vibe, that is the real attraction here. the food is good, but lacks creativity a bit, more ingredients on a plate does not always mean better, and also the menu has no big choice. yet we enjoyed our dinner here,...a larger beer and wine choice would also have made us happier. so work in progress with easy fixes if they want to do so

Had dinner with my parents there. My mom has eaten there previously and was satisfied with everything. Trusting that we went and had a lovely evening together. Friendly service, good food, nice wine and all for a good price. Going to the bathroom I've seen...that they have also a "Kegelbahn" probably also to rent, great bohemic idea

Quick service we had excellent salads with fries. The menu is relatively limited but everyone should find something suitable. Friendly service
