If it was possible to score no stars I would our food order was very disappointing the food did not arrive all together, of the 4 meals ordered the gluten free pizza arrived 5 mins later than the others. Of the food that arrived first the two calazone pizzas only had filling towards one half (almost as if folded incorrectly) and the other salmon dish was stone cold. The salmon dish was taken away and we waited over 30 mins for a hot replacement as you can guess despite being a ‘priority order’ the staff telling us over and over again “just 5 mins” 30 mins is totally unacceptable. Bedford has a plethora of fantastic Italian restaurants this chain will not get our custom again.
Booked a last minute Valentines night dinner here and we were very pleasantly surprised. The place was rammed, but the staff seemed to cope admirably and from what I could see everyone was getting served promptly and courteously, we certainly were. The food is fairly basic generic Italian chain stuff but it was tasty and enjoyable. We would definitely go back, only downside from our perspective was the noisy teenage girl table next to us, but to be expected on a night such as this.
When we arrived they couldn’t find our booking and said the WiFi wouldn’t work so we couldn’t find our booking ourselves. Luckily my husband managed to find the open table booking and despite the restaurant being half full they very reluctantly found us a table. The food and our waitress were both great once we were seated. The WiFi did work so I don’t know why the girl said it didn’t. Just felt like they were trying to put us off
My booking wasn 't on the list of tables for the evening, but on a piece of paper at the back. Told oh, I will find you a table in a minute... Had to ask for menus to be brought to us! Had to ask for our drinks to be brought to us! Had to ask for our main course to be brought to us and then they forgot about the side salad!

The staff here are fantastic and it's in an amazing location. My only complaint is that any dish with sage in it is saturated and it overpowers the food.... less is more. They also need to ensure they have enough stock of cheese fondue starters as almost every time I've been in there they have run out.
I arrived at the restaurant 25 minutes before my reservation and was informed that it was closed due to a gas or water leak. I ended up going to another local restaurant instead. I did not receive any communication from OpenTable regarding the closure. Very disappointed with the experience.

Even though it was very busy as it was a Saturday night, the service and attitude of the staff was great, and the food was service quickly

The Christmas menu is fantastic. Every crumb was eaten, any every drop drunk.
